There is a lot of curiosity about Imtiaz Ali’s next venture. And why not it will be the next project after great and entertaining films like SOCHA NA THA, JAB WE MET and LOVE AAJ KAL.

It was recently publicised that for his next project, ROCKSTAR, Imtiaz had signed Katrina Kaif opposite Ranbir Kapoor, though there was no confirmation from the concerned people. To know the exact situation we decided to ask the person at the helm of affairs, Imtiaz Ali.

As per Imtiaz, "It is true that that the name of my next project is ROCKSTAR, but it is only a working title. As you know JAB WE MET too was TRAIN initially (as we had broken the news from Shimla in May 2007) but got a final title only after completion."

As for the cast, Imtiaz says, "Ranbir is there definitely but as of today we have not finalized Katrina or for that matter any leading lady for the film being produced by the same production house as JAB WE MET, Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd."

Before signing off the soft spoken and down to earth Imtiaz discloses the shooting venue, "We will shoot predominantly in Delhi."

Select few have been associated with Lux: Katrina

Bolywood actresses Katrina Kaif has joined hands with celebrities Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra as the new brand ambassador for Lux and she thinks it is only a selected lot to have had the “honour”.

Katrina has been roped in as the face of the Lux Purple Lotus & Cream, a soap infused with anti-ageing properties.

“I don’t think every actress in Bollywood has been associated with Lux. A select few actresses, who they felt suited the brand right (have been associated with it) and they all have been actresses of great stature with wonderful careers and some wonderful work,” Katrina told IANS over phone from Dubai Sunday evening.
“I am very honoured to join the group of people who have been with Lux over the years,” she added.
The new commercial has been shot in Bangkok and directed by Marco. While Katrina has been styled by fashion designer Rocky S for the ad, the music has been composed by trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
Actor Abhishek Bachchan also endorses Lux with wife Aishwarya.

Katrina Kaif furious with DABANG Salman Khan, KAMINEY Shahid Kapur!!

Heard this?? Katrina Kaif, the sizzling hot oomph queen of bollywood who was set to record her performance for an award function was made to wait the whole night by her beau Salman Khan and ‘Kaminey’ Shahid Kapur, making Kat furious with rage.

Katrina was seen leaving the Yashraj studios in the morning after canning her act at around six, while she had been there from the evening and was expected to go for other work.

Sources present at the venue say that it all started because of Salman Khan, who came directly from Wai where he had been shooting for Arbaaz Khan’s ambitious flick ‘Dabang’ opposite newbie Sonakshi Sinha. As Katrina was already present there, Salman Khan’s presence was initially taken as a supportive gesture for his ladylove.
However, soon everything changed when Salman Khan insisted on completing his act before Katrina Kaif, fully knowing the fact that he had not even rehearsed the number. But then Salman Khan is Salman and nobody dares to argue with him. Dancers were called in immediately, dresses were arranged for the macho hero and till the time his performance was okayed, it was already past midnight.
But Katrina Kaif’s ordeal did not end here as Shahid Kapur’s episode was yet to come. The ‘Kaminey’ actor who had already performed live for the award function suddenly felt that it was not up to the mark and he should again do it for the television junta.
Now, Shahid Kapur, too, wanted to complete his task before Katrina Kaif could even start her performance. There was no other way out for Katrina, but to wait for Shahid Kapur’s performance to end and by that time it was already early in the morning. In the end, Katrina got her chance and left immediately after completing the task but it was already six in the morning and she was seen leaving with some furious muttering voice from the venue.
In the meantime, the makers of Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Rajneeti’ have decided to go whole hog for the publicity of the flick before its release. Even Katrina Kaif is said to be very excited about the flick as she plays a different character in the flick and expects it to establish her as an actress of substance who can enact serious roles as easily as glam doll roles in her films.
In any case, Katrina Kaif’s prestige has further risen after she was signed for Lux soap, brand replacing stunning beauty Aishwarya Rai. Sources say that Katrina Kaif is the latest to join the Lux brand wagon, which has traditionally been associated with big heroines of the tinsel town.

Katrina Kaif waiting for the release of Rajneeti

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has proved herself in comic and glamorous roles. But imagine this pretty girl sans any makeup and sexy clothes. It comes as a surprise because has done just that in her forthcoming release Rajneeti – she dons a de-glam look. And she just can’t wait for its release.

She said that she go by her instinct and the script. She added that she is looking for the release of the film, as she shares screen space with some of the finest actors in the film industry. Rajneeti is a political saga directed by Prakash Jha and is scheduled for release on June 4.

Katrina is currently busy shooting for Tees Maar Khan with Akshay Kumar. It is directed by Farah Khan, who hither to have worked only with Shahrukh Khan.
