Telugu movie 180 starring Siddharth, Priya Anand and Nitya Menon, is a lighthearted romantic comedy. Lead actor Siddharth is back in Tamil films after a 6-year-hiatus. The movie has been shot in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. "Though I have done several romantic movies in the past, 180 is a special movie for me. We have used the latest technology to enhance the visual appeal,” says Siddharth. Expectations are high from director P. Jayendra. "The director's narration of the story is superb," says Siddharth. P Jayendra is a well-known ad film maker. He debuts as a director with 180. The shooting started in July last year and according to reports 180 will be ready for release this summer. The shooting took place at various picturesque locations in Chennai, Hyderabad, Kuala Lumpur and San Francisco. Sarath Vasudevan has composed the music for the movie. There are six songs in the film of which five have been written by Madhan Karky and one by Viveka. Bangalore-based Nithya Menon plays the second female lead. Priya Anand, the main female lead, is well-known in the South especially for her praiseworthy performance in the movie Leader. Balasubramanyam's superb camera work is one of the high points of 180. The film has been jointly produced by Satyam Cinemas and Agal Films
. The Tamil version of 180 is called Putham Pudhu Kaalai. Both versions will be released
simultaneously, so get set for a double dose of Siddharth!

Actress Zarine Khan filmed to spotlight as Salman Khan’s finding in ‘Veer’ and because of her seeming likeness in appears to Salman’s love attention Katrina Kaif. Their drivers too are experts and can ride them as two- wheelers also.

Salman Khan indulges in daredevilry for soft drink ad.
It is touted to be Salman Khan's new actioner after Dabangg. The star has indulged in the daredevil adventure sport of wing suit flying in a commercial of his new endorsement for a soft drink.
The ad was recently shot at a remote location in the mountainous terrains of New Zealand. It was filmed by an international crew helmed by action-adventure film maker Bob Gordon. Sallu has done the stunts himself.
Says a unit source, "The only way to reach the shooting locale was by a helicopter. There were five of them on the sets that feature in the ad as well."
The makers claim that it is the actor's biggest ad production keeping in mind the ad's Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai campaign.
Adds the source, "The film has been mounted on a mega scale and the production budget exceeded over a million dollars."
The ad goes on air from February 25.

Realistic film maker Madhur Bhandarkar says he might make a comeback to action films soon.

Bhandarkar, speaking to reporters at the 41st edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), also said his films are made according to his will and the film’s ‘heroes and heroines’ have nothing to do with it.

“My films are made as per my will. If at all I change the script, it’s my own say,” Bhandarkar said.

The “Chandni Bar” director also said he might switch tack soon and make an action-based movie.

“Let me release my film ‘Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji’. It’s just a day’s work on the film in balance. After that I might try my hand with action movies,” said Bhandarkar, whose last action movie was “Aan: Men at Work” way back in 2004, which had a multi-star cast including Akshay Kumar.

Famous film maker Kannan who is famous for making soft and romantic entertainers like ‘Jeyam Kondan’ and ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ is now taking a change and going for an edge seated crime thriller which has been titled as ‘Vandhan Vendran’.

Young hero Jeeva in the lead and ‘Aadukalam’ fame Tapsee will be playing the female lead opposite him. It is produced by K.
