Prithviraj’s Anwar coming on October 15
Mallu superstar Prithviraj’s much anticipated Anwar, directed by Amal Neerad, will grace screens on October 15 during Pooja holidays. The film was earlier expected on September 10 as a Ramzan treat.
According to sources, the makers pushed the release of the film from Ramzan to Pooja holidays to avoid clash with other Ramzan releases: Mohanlal’s Shikar, Mammootty’s Pranchiyettan and the Saint and Jayaram’s Makeup Man.
Anwar, scripted by the director himself with his help of R. Unni of Big B fame, is produced by Rajesh Zacharias under the banner of Red Carpet Films. Debutant cameraman Satheesh Kurup cranks the camera and Gopi Sundar is the man behind the music.
