Konkona Sen announce marriage on twitter

Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma have confirmed their marriage by tweeting about it on twitter. It was reported that they didn’t want media to get involved in their marriage that is the reason why they kept their marriage a secret affair.

A close friend was reported saying that they will announce their official relationship only after their marriage ceremony. The couple did the same. Konkona tweeted saying, “Hey guys. Ranvir and I got married on the 3rd. Thanks for all the good wishes! Goodnight.”

Ranvir and Konkona were in the relationship for more than three years and on 3rd September they walked into a married life in a traditional manner at their Goregaon residence. Ranvir was dressed as a Punjabi Groom and arrived at the venue in a horse drawn carriage, while, Konkona adorned her grandmother’s jewellery for the ceremony.

Ranvir tweeted expressing happiness in his humorous way , “We wanted you to read it here first but… We got married! Yay! The best wish/advice I’ve received on marriage so far: ‘Congratulations! Don’t do it again.’ Thank you all for the wishes It’s been a long week. G’nite…”
