Adobe rumored to be prepping lawsuit over iPhone Flash

Although the changes Apple recently made to its developer agreement have drawn criticism from many, it's Adobe that's probably the biggest loser in this dust-up. Those changes essentially mean no Adobe Flash on iWhatever devices, and could lead to a lawsuit, it's been reported.

The report cites the normal anonymous "sources close to Adobe." They state that Adobe will be suing Apple within a few weeks.

Adobe included a Flash-to-iPhone compiler in its Flash Professional CS5 release. The new language in the developer agreement has been interpreted to ban both cross-compilers, which would prevent any apps created with the Flash-to-iPhone compiler from being accepted into the App Store.

Whether or not this actually happens, is just a rumor, or Adobe has a legal leg to stand on remains to be seen.
